Well it looks like Summer finally made it and wow is it hot!!!  This is a perfect time to spend a little “you & me” time sitting in the comfortable red couches with the A/C going, friends laughing and lots of fun projects being worked on.  Come on in any time for help for just simply to relax and get out of the heat.  WE WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 4TH AND JULY 24TH FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

Unwind’s Summer Stitch Club is in full swing.  The July Mon/Wed session is full but the August sessions and the Tues/Thurs session in July still have a few spots available.    Girls and boys ages 10 and up have the chance to come in out of the heat for a couple of hours and learn to knit or crochet.  We have fun projects, from early Christmas gifts to book bags to get you “stylin’” for school.

This is a great opportunity to get a few friends together and learn something fun and new.  You’ll impress the rest of your friends with your creativity and skill. These classes are twice a week, two hours each class, for 3 weeks at a time.  Come in or call to sign up.  You can take one session or all three!  The cost is $90.00 for each session, plus materials.  The classes are small (limit 5) so hurry up and sign up before all of the places are taken.

Unwind is the best place to pick up a new hobby! We are a couple of local Sandy Gals that wanted to create a relaxing, inspiring place for people looking to connect and create and together! Step inside and “unwind” with us while learning how to make fabulous knitted and crocheted scarves, hats, blankets, purses and more!

Our shop offers an inviting gathering area with two large comfy red couches and a cozy fireplace. It is the perfect setting for learning a new stitch or meeting a new friends/ We have a whimsical classroom in the back where you will always find a class in session or some one-on-one instruction on a project. We always welcome knitters, stitchers, crocheters or anyone wanting to learn these great arts to our “Open Knit ANYTIME” policy. We are here to offer plenty of instruction, encouragement, or just a place to sit and chat! Unwind even has a kids playroom, so you can enjoy some grown up time and let the kids watch a movie or color with some new friends!
